Wisconsin Association for Identification Scholarship for Dependents
The Wisconsin Association for Identification is pleased to continue to offer a scholarship program to support and encourage the secondary education of WAI member dependents in 2022. These awards will be made for the 2022 – 2023 academic year.
Basis of Award – Scholarship awards shall be granted based on the following considerations:
o Award committee evaluation of the candidate’s written essay (see application for topics).
o Acceptance to an accredited college or university;
o Demonstrated achievement in previous academic pursuits;
Scholarship Award Amount – The number of awards and total distribution amounts for the 2022 - 2023 academic year scholarships will be determined based on the Scholarship Committee reviewer’s evaluation of the applications submitted in consideration of funds available and approved qualified applicants for that year.
Use of Scholarships – Scholarship awards may be applied toward tuition, fees, or other costs directly related to undergraduate or graduate studies in degree seeking (including technical certifications) programs.

Completed applications, including essay and transcripts attached, must be received electronically by
March 13, 2022 at 2400 CST
Applications will be reviewed and the recipients will be selected, notified individually and announced at the WAI training conference on April 6, 2022.
